As you depart Chicago’s Navy Pier, your Captain will enlighten you with interesting facts about the Pier and Chicago’s world-famous scenic lakefront. Seadog will race north along the Magnificent Mile where you will pause to hear interesting facts about some of Chicago’s lakefront architecture. Your Captain will then crank up the music and race back south past Navy Pier to Chicago’s Museum Campus. Along the way you will enjoy panoramic views of Buckingham Fountain, Grant Park, Sears Tower. Pausing again at Chicago’s Museum Campus, you will have unobstructed views of the Shedd Aquarium, the Field Museum and the Adler Planetarium. Finally, you will race back to Navy Pier to the thrilling sound of our turbo-charged 1,000 horsepower engines.

See and hear about the dozens of skyscrapers lining the Chicago River including Sears Tower and the Tribune Tower among other historic points of interest. Aboard Seadog, your river tour will also include our exclusive lakefront ride with spectacular views of the Chicago skyline from Lake Michigan, including Buckingham Fountain, Grant Park, beautiful Chicago Harbor, Chicago’s Museum Campus and much, much more!
We are very easy to find on Navy Pier. We are only steps away from the entrance to Navy Pier and just across from the 150’ high Ferris Wheel. Look for our red & white ticket booth. Seadogs are the amazingly cool, bright yellow speed boats!

across from Odyssey

In the event that the Navy Pier parking lot is filled to capacity, a number of lots within 2 blocks of Navy Pier offer convenient parking. Also, a free trolley shuttle runs between State Street and the pier along Illinois and Grand Avenue.

From Points North:
South on Lake Shore Drive. Exit Illinois Street/Grand Avenue. Proceed to next light. Turn left on Illinois. Follow signs to Navy Pier.
From Points Northwest:
Take I-90/94 to Ohio Street. Then east on Ohio, south on Fairbanks to Illinois. East on Illinois to Navy Pier.
From Points South:
North on Lake Shore Drive. Exit Illinois Street/Grand Avenue. Bear to the right. Follow signs to Navy Pier.
From Points Southwest:
Take I-55 to Lake Shore Drive. Then go north on Lake Shore Drive. Exit Illinois Street/Grand Avenue. Bear to the right. Follow signs to Navy Pier.
From Points West:
Take I-290 East, Follow signs onto Congress Parkway. Turn left (North) onto Columbus Dr. Turn right (East) At Illinois. Follow signs to Navy Pier.
